1APPLICATIONS FOR SEASONAL EMPLOYEES CAN BE FOUND HERE. Completed applications may be dropped off at Village Hall - 2nd Floor, faxed to (914) 337-0158, or emailed to sshallo@vobny.com.

The Department of Public Works is responsible for:
  • Sanitation & recycling
  • Streets & highways
  • Village infrastructure
This includes:
  • Collection and disposal of refuse and recyclables from all residences and businesses, including garden waste and leaves
  • Maintenance and repair of Village streets and sidewalks
  • Maintenance of infrastructure systems such as: catch basins, storm drains and sanitary sewers
  • Supervision all work undertaken on public property including Village-owned parks
