Meter Info & Holidays

 

Parking meter enforcement hours are:

◊     On- street meters: 8:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. except Sundays and designated holidays (see below) 

◊     Lot meters: 8:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. except Sundays and designated holidays (see below)

◊     Designated Meter Enforcement Holidays 

  • New Year's Day (the first day of January)
  • Memorial Day (the last Monday in May)
  • Independence Day (the fourth day of July)
  • Labor Day (the first Monday in September)
  • Thanksgiving Day (the fourth Thursday in November)
  • Christmas Day (the 25th day of December)

 

PLEASE NOTE:  If any of these holidays falls on a Sunday and is celebrated on the following Monday, then such substitute day shall be treated as a designated holiday.  The list above represents all of the meter holidays currently recognized in the Village of Bronxville.

 

Faulty Parking Meter

◊     If a meter is broken, please call 914-337-0500 and leave your plate number, location and meter number  

◊     A meter repair person will be dispatched to check the meter 

◊     If the meter is found to be broken, any ticket issued in error will be dismissed  

◊     It is important to report the broken meter immediately and not wait until you have finished using the parking space
