We strive to help village government, residents, businesses, and institutions in Bronxville build a healthy, sustainable future.
We seek to be your go-to place for resources, programs, guidance, and encouragement as we all learn to live green.
Bronxville Green Committee is a volunteer organization that is part of the Village of Bronxville government and works with the mayor, village trustees, and administrative staff to promote environmentally sound practices in the village.
Our well-established programs include Bronxville Giving Garden, a community garden located on the corner of Pondfield Road and Gramatan Avenue that provides vegetables for local food banks; and Take Back Day, held in the spring and fall, offering convenient local recycling of paper, electronics, and other items.
We invite residents of all ages to join our efforts. Please consider attending our monthly meetings in Village Hall (link to Village calendar). If you’d like to get involved but have limited time, we’re happy to accommodate your schedule. You can reach us directly HERE.
Here’s where you can learn to adopt more sustainable practices, switch to clean energy, and live in greater health and harmony with the natural world. You’ll find tips and resources, the latest news about on-going community projects, and articles of particular local interest, such as “Where Does Bronxville’s Water Come From?”
