The Department of PublicWorks offers many services to Village residents.  They handle sanitation and recycling, maintain the streets and highways and monitor the infrastructure and under and above ground utilities. We've tried to summarize the activites of the department below.  However, if you have any questions you may contact Public Works.

Superintendent of Public Works

The Department of Public Works is headed by a superintendent who manages the day-to-day operations of this twenty-three employee department. The DPW collects and disposes of refuse and recyclables from all residences including garden waste and leaves. It is responsible for the maintenance and repair of Village streets and infrastructure systems such as catch basins, storm drains and sanitary sewers. The Superintendent also supervises all work undertaken on public property including Village-owned parks.
