Room - The Yeager
Community Room contains state-of-the-art
audiovisual, videotaping and live
cable-casting studio capabilities, most of
which is operable remotely or from an
adjoining control room. |

include a retractable, ceiling-mounted LCD
Video Projector; a 9' x 12' retractable
projection screen; two 32" television
monitors; slide and transparency projectors;
Bose-speaker-based stereo sound system;
supplemental amplification for the hearing
impaired; an adjustable speaker's podium with
built-in light, clock, timer and sound system;
table microphones; a hands-free lavaliere
microphone; connections for Internet access
and Power Point presentations; two
permanently-mounted, remote-operated
television cameras; VCR; DVD player;
television flood and back lighting; and
wall-washer lighting. |

The Board Room
is located on the lower level.
There is a
conference table
in the center of the room with seating for ten and
additional area which can accommodate another
six people. |

Burt Gallery is located in the center
of the second floor. The room is
adorned with beautiful artwork, display cases
and fine furniture. There is standing
room for approximately 40 people. |

| The
Little Gallery is located in the
center of the lower level. This area is
suitable for small gatherings and features a
table and standing room for approximately 20
people. |

The Kitchen also
located on the lower level is equipped with a
stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher.

Suitable
for larger format works, including oil
paintings. It offers approximately
100 linear feet of wall surface. The
maximum vertical clearance of the
exhibition surfaces is 67". The
use of metal hanging rods provided by the
Library is encouraged for mounting
purposes. Wall washer and overhead
incandescent fixtures illuminate this
windowless space. The Yeager Room
contains a section of fixed seating;
community meetings are frequently
televised from this room, exposing the
exhibition to the population of the
Eastchester and Tuckahoe as well as
Bronxville. |

approximately 45 linear feet of hanging
surface, divided into seven sections
ranging from 2' to 12' in length.
The available vertical height is 59"
except on one 11' wall where it is
43". The gallery is suitable
for works weighing 15 pounds or less,
only. Illumination is provided by a
combination of natural light, wall washers
and overhead incandescent fixtures. |

Offers
approximately 26 linear feet of wall space
in five sections ranging from 2'4" to
7'5". Maximum vertical
clearance is 58". This
windowless space in the center of the
Library's lower level is lit by
incandescent overhead lighting. |
