Mayor and Board of Trustees

Mayor Mary Marvin

Welcome to Bronxville a Village described by preservationists as “endlessly copied but never matched”.

As Mayor for 19 years and in Bronxville government for a quarter of a century, my goal has been to retain all the beauty and history of the Village while offering modern services and amenities, all while trying to keep the Village an affordable alternative for those looking to call it home. A graduate of Wellesley College and the University of Pennsylvania, I have enjoyed government as a noble profession since working for Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller. I see myself as a steward and preservationist of one of the Country’s most unique municipalities.

Board of Trustees

The Village of Bronxville is governed by a five member Board of Trustees.

The Board consists of a Mayor and four Trustees. The Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the Village and is responsible for the conduct of public  meetings and certain appointments. The Mayor and Trustees all have one equal vote for the adoption of resolutions.

Board of Trustees meetings are held on the second Monday of every month except August. The meetings take place in the Trustees Room at Village Hall.
