The Bronxville Historical Conservancy

The Bronxville Historical Conservancy, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit corporation established in 1998 to further the understanding and appreciation of the history and current life of the Village of Bronxville, New York. The Conservancy offers programs, publications, lectures and special events to its members and the public to foster an awareness of the Village's architectural, artistic and cultural heritage. Where appropriate, it also lends its support to projects designed to strengthen and preserve that heritage.

Several active Conservancy subcommittees give members opportunities for hands-on participation in the preservation of Bronxville's history.

They include:

  • Brendan Gill Annual Public Lecture
  • Research and inventory of the work of early Bronxville artists
  • Research and inventory of Bronxville's residential, commercial and public architecture
  • Writing and publication of Conservancy newsletter
  • Research and inventory of A Who Was Who in Bronxville
